Iran security approach based on justice, unlike US: Jalili

Iran’s position on providing security is, unlike that of the US, based on justice and serving the nation, said Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili on Monday.

He made the remarks during a ceremony held here to commemorate victims of last week’s terrorist bombing in southeastern Iran which killed a number of senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps as well as local people and tribal leaders.

“Iran would continue firmly resisting enemies' plots and providing security relying on its public support,” Jalili said.

He added that the IRGC was playing a major role in ensuring security.
