Iran condemns terrorist bombings in Iraq

Iran's Foreign Ministry on Sunday condemned terrorist bombings in Baghdad and said that the inhumane action is aimed at destabilizing the country.

Foreign Ministry spokesman said, “Such terrorist actions whose goal is to disrupt stability and the fledgling democratic institutions of the country, show hostility of the terrorists against Muslim people of Iraq and their resolve to decide their fate.”

He said Iran supports political process in Iraq and underlines the need to strengthen the Iraqi legal institutions.

“Iraqi government is expected to counter such terrorist measures and provide a suitable ground for guaranteeing security, peace and welfare of the country’s people through backing of the citizens and vigilance and cooperation of all the social and political parties.”

The Ministry official condoled Iraqi government and nation on the tragic event and said Iran is ready to offer any kind of help to Iraq in that respect.
