Iran’s `Gilan A’ team finishes champion of 1st Intl. Caspian Cup Judo Competitions

`Gilan A’ judo team of Iran turned champion of the First International Caspian Cup Judo Competitions here on Sunday.

The Iranian team managed to gain five gold, three silver and one bronze medals of the competitions, thus standing champion.

Three junior judo teams from Iran’s northern Gilan Province and three others from Daghistan had taken part in the tournament.

The Daghistani judokas, meanwhile, received four gold and two silver medals to go to the second position.

Iran’s `Gilan B’ team too stood third in the row and pocketed three silver and one bronze medals.
