      Suicide bomber blasts self in Grozny; five injured.
    GROZNY, October 22 (Itar-Tass) - A suicide bomber blew himself up in
Chechnya's capital Grozny on Wednesday evening when a police detail was
approaching him. Four police officers and a civilian were slightly
injured. The incident occurred in Sadovaya Street at around 21:00, near a
recreation center under construction.
Chechnya interior Minister Russian Alkhanov said "none of the police
officers was seriously injured."
Subsequent report said the Chechen law-enforcement bodies had
identified the suicide bomber.
He is Zaurbek Khashumov, 19, a resident of Grozny, an Interior
Ministry official told Itar-Tass.
According to preliminary information, Khashumov left his home two
months ago, and his whereabouts have been unknown since.
A group of investigators is working at the scene.
