The Russian minister is currently here for the 13 th meeting of the Vietnam-Russia
Inter-governmental Committee for Economic, Commercial, Scientific and Technological
Cooperation.

relationships over the past years.
They agreed that based on the traditional political ties, the two countries’
economic, trade and investment cooperation has harvested encouraging achievements.
Besides their successes in bilateral cooperation projects in oil and gas
exploration, the two countries are mulling on a possibility of carrying out
cooperation projects in mechanical engineering and auto assembly industries in a
third country.
