Iran wants UNESCO to react strongly to terrorist attack

Iran’s Permanent Representative to UNESCO forwarded a letter on Tuesday to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization urging it to make strong reaction to the terrorist attack occurred in southeast of Iran on October 18.

Pointing to one of the UNESCO’s objectives that is to combat any violence, the representative has called in the letter on the organization to deal firmly with this terrorist act.

The terrorist event in the province of Sistan and Balouchestan led to the martyrdom of a number of top IRGC commanders, provincial tribal leaders and some ordinary people on Sunday.
