“RESPONSE AND COOPERATION DURING OIL SPILL IN CASPIAN” INT`L SEMINAR HELD IN KAZAKH CITY ATYRAU

Atyrau, 19 October (AzerTAc). An international seminar “Response and cooperation during oil spill in the Caspian” was held in this Kazakh city. The event was attended by experts and specialists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, representatives of the relevant departments of large oil companies.
Participants discussed the cases of preparedness and response of the coastal countries during oil spill in the Caspian basin, cooperation of the emergencies to liquidate oil spill sequences. Also was underlined the necessity of improving the countries` national action plan on this purpose.
