CONGRESS AND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF EUROPEAN FAIR PLAY MOVEMENT WRAPS UP IN BAKU
Baku, October 19 (AzerTAc). The 15th Congress and General Assembly of the European Fair Play Movement have ended in Baku. The event brought together representatives of the Fair Play Committees from 24 countries as well as international structures.
A Baku Declaration on further prospects of cooperation was adopted at the General Assembly`s meeting. A next event will take place in Czech in 2010.
The European Fair Play Movement was established on May 28, 1994 in Zurich. Aim of the organization is to protect principles of justice and ethic norms in sports and public life.
Azerbaijan`s Fair Play Committee was set up under National Olympic Committee in 1998.
