Pak envoy summoned to Iran's Foreign Ministry
Following the recent terrorist operation in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Balouchestan, the Pakistani charge d’affaires was summoned to the Foreign Ministry on Sunday.
The Pakistani charge d’affaires, who was summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry in the absence of that country’s ambassador, was informed of Tehran’s protest against the use of Pakistani territories by terrorists and rebels.
During the meeting, the Pakistani authorities were urged to act firmly to prevent the movement of terrorists and rebels in their country.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani envoy expressed deep regret of his government over the terrorist operation and voiced its sympathy with the families of the victims.
Reiterating that Pakistan, itself, is the victim of terrorism, he announced Islamabad’s readiness to cooperate with Tehran to identify the elements behind the terrorist operation.
The Pakistani envoy vowed to inform his country’s officials of Iran’s great concern.

Some 60 people were killed or injured in the terrorist act which took place when a bomber blew himself up during a meeting held for the unity of provincial Sunni and Shiite Muslims.
Acting Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps and Commander of Qods Headquarters Brigadier General Nourali Shoushtari along with Commander of Sistan and Balouchestan IRGC Forces Brigadier General Rajabali Mohammadzadeh were among those killed in the fatal attack.
