Iranian, Senegalese presidents start private talks

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad began holding private talks with his Senegalese counterpart Abdoulaye Wade at the presidential premises in Tehran on Saturday.

The talks on major bilateral developments are being held after the Senegalese president was officially received by President Ahmadinejad.

Senegal’s president, leading a politico-economic delegation, arrived in Tehran Saturday morning to pay a day-long visit to the country.

Wade has traveled to Iran four times since 2006.

Senegal has undertaken the rotating presidency of the Organization of the Islamic Conference since 18 months ago.
