MILLI MAJLIS VICE-SPEAKER MEETS LITHUANIAN DEPUTY FM
Baku, October 16 (AzerTAc). Vice-speaker of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan Parliament), chief of the standing commission on natural resources, energy and ecology Valeh Alesgerov met with Lithuanian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evaldas Ignatavicius.
Alesgerov briefed Ignatavicius on structure and international relations of the Milli Majlis, as well as ongoing economic reforms in Azerbaijan, the country`s oil strategy and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
He noted larger potential for development of relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania.
Ignatavicius praised current situation of relations between the two states, expressing hope for further expansion.
The sides also exchanged views over issues of mutual interest.
