HEAD OF OSCE OFFICE IN BAKU VISITS AZERBAIJAN`S MINGACHEVIR CITY
Baku, October 16 (AzerTAc). Head of OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel has visited Azerbaijan`s Mingachevir city to familiarize himself with the implementation of the organization`s community policing project.
Chief of the city Police Department Alasgar Badalov said “the successful implementation of the project helped us to establish trustful relations and close cooperation between the police and the society”.
“The number of crimes and law violation reduced in the city. Kidnapping, robbery, carjacking, deliberate murder were not registered in Mingachevir over the last two years,” he added.
Cankorel highly praised work done here under the project.
He also had meetings with Mingachevir`s head of executive power Mubariz Agayev and chiefs of Tartar and Yevlakh Police Departments.
