AZERBAIJAN PROTESTS TO TURKEY OVER FLAG DISRESPECT INCIDENT

Baku, October 15 (AzerTAc). Turkey`s charge d`affaires Nihat Cinaveri has been summoned to the Azerbaijani foreign ministry to receive a formal protest after disrespect was shown towards Azerbaijan`s national flag during a football match between Turkey and Armenia on October 14 in the Turkish city of Bursa.
The protest letter was handed over to the Turkish charge d`affaires by Azeri deputy foreign minister Araz Azimov.
