AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES CHIEF OF IRANIAN PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE
Baku, October 15 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received head of the Iranian Presidential Office Esfandiar Rahim Mashaie.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of the visit for discussing current state and prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The President stressed Azerbaijan and Iran enjoy successful cooperation in various fields.
President Ilham Aliyev said he believes “the visit and meetings you will hold during it will contribute to strengthening cooperation between our countries”.
Mashaie conveyed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad `s greetings to the Head of State.
He also presented Mahmoud Ahmadinejad `s letter to President Ilham Aliyev.
