AZERI FM MEETS NEWLY APPOINTED DUTCH AMBASSADOR
Baku, October 14 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met today with newly appointed ambassador of the Netherlands Jan Lucas van Hoorn.
Presenting his credentials to the Minister, Jan Lucas van Hoorn expressed satisfaction with being appointed as an envoy to Azerbaijan.
He stressed the Netherlands is very interested on development of relations with Azerbaijan.
Minister Mammadyarov spoke of existing opportunities for bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including politics, economy, energy, tourism and culture.
Touching upon Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Minister said “the dispute can be settled only within territorial integrity of Azerbaijan”.
They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
