AZERI CHESS GRANDMASTER CLAIMS GOLD IN MACEDONIA

Baku, October 11 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani chess grandmaster Vugar Hashimov has won gold medal at the European clubs cup in Macedonia in which he played for Israeli club Ashdod.
Hashimov secured the title after winning four out of six games, while drawing the rest two.
Silver was claimed by Ukrainian Eugeny Miroshnichenko, while Russia`s Mikhail Ivanov won bronze.
