PARTICIPANTS OF INTERNATIONAL IBN ARABI SYMPOSIUM TO MARK 70th ANNIVERSARY OF ORIENTALIST AIDA IMANGULIYEVA VISIT HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION

Baku, October 10 (AzerTAc). Participants of the international Ibn Arabi symposium to mark the 70th anniversary of prominent Azerbaijani orientalist Aida Imanguliyeva have visited today the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The visitors were briefed on the aims and activity of the foundation.
They viewed prominent poet and philosopher Ibn Arabi`s manuscripts which are kept in Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences` Institute of Manuscripts named after Mahammad Fuzuli.
They familiarized themselves with documents featuring national leader Heydar Aliyev`s life and carrier. The main goal of the foundation is to study and popularize Heydar Aliyev`s heritage, give an idea to future generations and foreign visitors about his large-scale activity to ensure Azerbaijan`s socio-economic and cultural progress, and assist projects that popularize the country`s history and culture.
The visitors also saw a documentary on the national leader`s activities.
