JAPAN`S GOVERNMENT IMPLEMENTS PROJECTS IN AZERBAIJAN WORTH $ 556 MLN

Baku, 10 October (AzeTAc). A signing ceremony of six projects was held in the residence of Japan`s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki as a part of Japanese government`s grass-roots human security and cultural projects.
Mr. Oki praised rapidly developing reforms in Azerbaijan, construction of roads, hospitals, schools and other infrastructure objects. He said number of projects being implemented by Japanese government reached 126.
Deputy Minister of Azerbaijan`s Youth and Sports Ismayil Ismayilov and head of the international relations and development department of “Azersu” JSC Ilgar Tagiyev thanked the government of Japan for implementation of the various projects in the field of sports and water supply system.
The signed six projects worth $ 556.228 include construction of aid posts in Goragan village of Gakh region ($ 85,931), Varkhan village of Saatli region ($ 96.805), Shahbayli village of Kurdamir region ($84.475), improvement of water supply system in Malikchobanli village of Shamakhi region ($ 96.682), construction of water supply system and improvement of irrigation canal in Boyuk Bahmanli village of Fizuli region ($ 97,000), and improvement of karate and judo sports facilities ($ 95,375).
