OFFICIALS OF EUROPEAN, INTERNATIONAL JUDO FEDERATIONS VISIT ALLEY OF HONORS
Baku, October 9 (AzerTAc). Officials of European and International Judo Unions, who have been invited to watch World Cup judo tournament in Baku, as well as president of Azerbaijan Judo Federation Fizuli Alakbarov and representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sport visited the Alley of Honors.
Here, they laid a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, and put flowers at the tomb of eminent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
The delegation also visited the Alley of Martyrs, and put flowers at the tombs of Azerbaijan`s brave sons, who died for the independence and territorial integrity of the country, and laid a wreath at the “Eternal Fire” monument.
