AZERBAIJAN`S POPULATION REACHES 8,896,900
Baku, 9 October (AzerTAc). The population of Azerbaijan has reached 8,896,900 people. According to the State Statistical Committee, 4,818,300 people (54.2%) of the total population leave in cities, while 4,078,600 (45.8%) in towns and villages.
Some 49% of the population are men, while 51% women, according to the committee.
