AZERBAIJAN, KOREA SIGN MOU ON AGRARIAN SECTOR
Baku, October 9 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov and chief director of Korea`s Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Kim Jong Jin have signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation.
In a brief talk before the signing ceremony, Abbasov said the document would lay legal foundations for boosting the agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
The Azeri minister highlighted Azerbaijan`s economic progress. “As a result of economic reforms, launched by national leader Heydar Aliyev and now successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan`s economy is rapidly developing and the country is strengthening its relations with the world`s leading countries.”
Abbasov also praised Korean companies` participation in the CaspianAgro exhibition underway in Baku.
Jong Jin echoed the Azeri minister`s words, saying "the memorandum will boost our cooperation”.
