AZERI OMBUDSWOMAN MEETS CHAIR OF SLOVAK CONSTITUTIONAL COURT
Baku, 8 October (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Commissioner for Human Rights Elmira Suleymanova has today met Chairwoman of the Slovak Constitutional Court Ivetta Macejkova.
Suleymanova spoke of the Ombudsman Office`s work, particularly its foreign relations.
Touching upon ongoing democratic reforms, she said “the Azerbaijani government attaches special importance to ensuring human rights in the country”.
Macejkova praised the Azerbaijan Ombudsman Office`s work to strengthen the protection of human rights in the country.
The Chairwoman of the Slovak Constitutional Court said she would spare no efforts to contribute to expanding the cooperation between ombudsman offices of Azerbaijan and Slovakia.
