Soltanieh: Iran aiming sustainable cooperation with IAEA

Iran’s IAEA envoy Ali-Asghar Soltanieh said in Vienna on Tuesday that Iran wants sustainable cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Soltanieh told BBC Hardtalk program that referral of Iran’s case to the UN Security Council was not legally and technically justified.

Asked about Iran’s need to have new nuclear facilities, Soltanieh said the nuclear facilities are a precaution for any likely attack.

Soltanieh said that Iranian nuclear facilities have been threatened to be attacked by the US and the Zionist regime.

He said Iran’s nuclear facilities are not aimed at having higher enrichment level and they are rather designed for less than five percent enrichment.
