PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INSPECTS COMPLETE OVERHAUL IN GARDEN NEAR PHILHARMONIC HALL
Baku, 7 October (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inspected complete overhaul in capital`s garden near the State Philharmonic Hall.
The Head of State and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva toured the garden.
They were in detail informed about the history of the garden with 4, 6 hectares area.
In May 2007, President Ilham Aliyev instructed to reconstruct this garden.
He regularly came to the park to familiarize himself with the works.
The garden got an original fountain projected by France-based “İnter Art” Company.
The President and First Lady were told that along with the reconstruction work, excavation was conducted in the garden as a result of which the second fortress wall and door of Icharishahar (Inner City) was found.
Favorable conditions were created in the garden for the guests and residents to have rest.
After familiarizing himself with the garden the Head of State met with representatives of the “İnter Art” Company and wished them successes.
