AZERI DEFENSE MINISTER MEETS OSCE MINSK GROUP`s AMERICAN CO-CHAIR
Baku, October 7 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev has met US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Robert Bradtke.
Abiyev expressed hope Bradtke will “breath a fresh air” into the Nagorno-Karabakh talks.
“Several co-chairs have changed in the Minsk Group so far but no progress has yet been made in finding a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”.
The Azeri minister said: “It is very important to find a soonest possible solution to the dispute. It can only be solved in accordance with the principle of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and only after the aggressor forces withdraw from Azerbaijan`s lands.”
“The co-chairs can speed up the settlement process on the basis of four UN Security Council resolutions. Otherwise the conflict`s remaining unresolved may lead to undesirable consequences.”
