CHAIRWOMAN OF SLOVAK CONSTITUTIONAL COURT PAYS RESPECT TO NATIONWIDE LEADER HEYDAR ALIYEV
Baku, October 6 (AzerTAc). Chairwoman of Slovak Constitutional Court Ivetta Macejkova has today visited Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.
She also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Macejkova also visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of the country. The Slovak chairwoman laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument here.
In a brief interview with journalists, Macejkova said: “We are here mostly to study the Azerbaijan Constitutional Court`s experience in making decisions on the basis of petitions and applications received.”
“Before coming to Baku I`ve thoroughly analyzed the activity of the Azerbaijan Constitutional Court, in particular its verdicts on concrete cases.”
“Tomorrow we plan to widely discuss these issues with our Azerbaijani colleagues,” Macejkova added.
