SOFAZ EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MEETS US DEPUTY SECRETARY OF ENERGY
Baku, 5 October (AzerTAc). Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) Shahmar Movsumov today has met here the US delegation led by Deputy Secretary of Energy Daniel Poneman.
Movsumov raised awareness of visitors about the Fund`s activities, management of oil incomes and application of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) in Azerbaijan.
Poneman praised achievements of the Fund in applying EITI in its activities.
The meeting also exchanged views on current state and prospects of Azerbaijan-US economic cooperation.
