CONSUL GENERAL OF AZERBAIJAN TO LOS ANGELES VISITING UTAH STATE

Baku, October 5 (AzerTAc). Recently Consul General of Azerbaijan to Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov and Officer Elman Abdullayev traveled to Utah State on a business trip. While meeting Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert, Azerbaijani diplomats discussed Azerbaijani-American relationship, prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Utah, Azerbaijan’s contribution to the regional security and old traditions of tolerance and openness prevailing in Azerbaijan. Mr. Herbert was presented a book about foreign policy of Azerbaijan. The book is published by the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy.
As part of his trip to Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah State, Elin Suleymanov addressed the Chamber of Trade and the Political Science Department at the University of Utah. The program of the trip also included presentations at Brigham Young and Utah Valley Universities in Provo.
Also Azerbaijan diplomats met representatives of Mormon Church, the main religious community in Utah.
