IAEO spokesman:ElBarad’s visit has nothing to do with Geneva meeting

Spokesman for Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Ali Shirzadian said on Saturday that the visit of IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei has nothing to do with Geneva meeting.

ElBaradei’s visit had been planned over one week before the meeting between Iran and the G5+1 in Geneva, he said.

The visit takes place upon official invitation of the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, he said.

Director General of International Atomic Energy Agency Mohamed ElBaradei arrived in Tehran Saturday afternoon.
