AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES CZECH DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND DEFENSE MINISTER
Baku, October 1 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Martin Bartak.
The Head of State stressed relations between Azerbaijan and Czechia were developing successfully in various fields.
President Ilham Aliyev described Czech delegations` visits to Azerbaijan as “a good sign of our relationship”.
The Azerbaijani President recalled his visit to Czechia this year and stressed the importance of conducting intensive dialogue.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the visit of Czech Deputy Prime Minister Martin Bartak to Azerbaijan would contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
Bartak praised the Czechia-Azerbaijan relations, adding the two countries became “closer to each other”.
“We regard Azerbaijan as a very stable country in this region,” he added.
Bartak underscored Czechia places a particular importance on its relations with Azerbaijan.
He also stressed the importance of expanding the bilateral military cooperation.
