AZERBAIJANI FM AND EU REPRESENTATIVE DISCUSS EU-AZERBAIJAN RELATIONS
Baku, September 30 (AzerTAc). Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov has met here today with visiting European Union`s representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby to discuss the EU-Azerbaijan ties and its development prospects.
Semneby noted EU is keen on establishing closer ties with Azerbaijan, saying Baku`s hosting the 10th meeting of the EU-Azerbaijan cooperation committee on September 25 is the manifestation of strengthening partnership.
Minister Mammadyarov noted Azerbaijan is also interested in expanding cooperation with the European Union. He stressed the importance of respective programs and initiatives.
On the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Minister Mammadyarov said Armenia was left out large-scale regional projects and stressed the possibility of solving the problem on the basis of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan only.
