CONFERENCE “ROLE OF ICT IN HEALTH AREA” HELD IN BAKU
Baku, September 30 (AzerTAc). A conference on the role of information-communication technologies in health area organized by Azerbaijan`s Health Ministry and Turkey`s Akgun Yazilim Company took place in Baku.
Deputy Health Minister Elsevar Agayev told of achievements being implemented in the country`s health area. Over the past five years, numerous treatment and diagnostics centers were opened as well as about 300 medical centers restored. He said a national center on health monitoring was also created to register the patients suffering from oncological, diabetes, renal insufficiency diseases. Currently, nine health programs are implemented and e-health cards prepared as a part of the program, Mr. Agayev added.
Chairman of Health and Social Affairs Commission of Turkey`s Grand National Assembly Cevdet Erdol told of innovations and technologies applied in the country`s health area. Chairman of Milli Majlis Commission for Social Policy Hadi Rajabli told of high significance of the conference.
