POPULATION’s INCOMES TO INCREASE IN AZERBAIJAN IN 2010, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MINISTER
Baku, September 28 (AzerTAc). The year 2010 will see a ten-percent increase in the population`s incomes in Azerbaijan, according to economic development minister Shahin Mustafayev.
“The incomes of the population will reach 24.9 million manats next year,” said the minister.
Mustafayev also said average monthly wages would increase 16.9 percent to make 365.9 manats, while the cost of living would be raised from 84 to 87 manats.
Mustafayev said the 2010 budget also proposes 3.6 billion manats of government funding.
“Some 45 percent of the government funding will go to infrastructure, while more than 14 percent on social projects,” the minister added.
