Baku, September 27 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani grandmaster Vugar Hashimov has become a winner of the European Blitz Championship in Ourense, Spain after garnering 9.5 pts in 10 games.
The championship brought together over 600 chess players from 32 countries.
Vugar Hashimov also progressed to the 1/8 final of the rapid chess Grand Prix in Spain.
