AZERBAIJAN`S CONSUL GENERAL TO ST. PETERSBURG MEETS CITY`S MIGRATION CHIEF

St Petersburg, 26 September (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s consul general to Saint Petersburg Gudsi Osmanov met the chief of federal migration service department of the city and Leningrad Oblast Ms. Yelena Dunayeva.

Ms. Dunayeva briefed on novelties in the migration legislature of her country.

Speaking of the problems the Azerbaijani citizens face during appeal to the migration service to maintain temporary or permanent resident status, the consul general said it was one of the priorities of the Consulate`s activity to protect the rights and interests of citizens. Osmanov said the Consulate does everything to solve these questions positively and in time.
The sides had large discussions on labor visas for foreign citizens, including quotas for citizens of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Ms. Dunayeva said all the questions concerning the citizens of Azerbaijan are solved in the frame of migration laws regulating the process, and expressed satisfaction with cooperation with the Consulate General in this field.
