Ken Henry postpones inquiry appearance

Treasury Secretary Ken Henry's appearance in front of a Senate inquiry into the
federal government's stimulus measures has been postponed, the chair of the Senate's
Economics References Committee Senator Alan Eggleston said.
Dr Henry and other senior officers were due to appear before the inquiry on Monday
in Sydney.
The secretary will now appear at the next committee hearing on October 9 in Canberra.
"This is to allow further time for Treasury to provide briefing materials to the
committee in advance of the inquiry," Senator Egglestone said on Friday in a
statement.
