CZECH SPEAKER`S WIFE VIEWS MUSEUM OF AZERBAIJANI LITERATURE

Baku, September 24 (AzerTAc). Spouse of the Czech Senate`s President Radmila Sobotkova, who is accompanying her husband on a Baku trip, has today visited the Nizami Ganjavi Museum of Azerbaijani Literature.
The museum`s officials informed Sobotkova that it contains over 25,000 exhibits, including manuscripts, books, magazines, newspapers, photos and carpets. Sobotkova viewed a conference hall and several exhibition rooms. The museum`s director, MP Rafael Huseynov presented Radmila Sobotkova with books and booklets published by the museum.
Afterwards, the Czech Speaker`s spouse visited Thalassemia Center which was built as part of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s “For life without thalassemia” project. Sobotkova was informed that the center built to modern standards serves nearly 40-50 people a day. Sobotkova toured a transfusion room, 12-bed clinics, laboratory, and X-ray diagnostics, manipulation and transplantation departments. The Czech Speaker`s wife said she had never seen “such a facility” even in most developed countries of the world.
