BAKU TO HOST INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF SOVEREIGN WEALTH FUNDS` FIRST MEETING
Baku, 23 September (AzerTAc). The first meeting of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) will be held on October 8-9 in the Azerbaijani capital.
The event to be organized by the Azerbaijani government and SOCAR will bring together representatives from sovereign wealth funds of more than 20 countries.
The meeting will focus on the current state in global economy and finance markets.
A press-conference on the outcomes of the meeting is expected to be held.
IFSWF was established during a meeting of the International Working Group of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IWG) on April 5-6 this year in Al-Kuwait.
The Forum is a voluntary group of Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) that exchanges views on issues of common interest and facilitates an understanding of the Santiago Principles and SWFs activities.
