CZECH SENATE`s PRESIDENT ARRIVES IN BAKU
Baku, September 23 (AzerTAc). President of the Czech Republic`s Senate Premysl Sobotka has arrived today in the Azerbaijani capital.
At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, he was welcomed by first vice-speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament (Milli Majlis) Ziyafat Asgarov and other officials.
Premysl Sobotka told journalists his trip aims to contribute to deepening political and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Czechia, especially inter-parliamentary ties.
Sobotka noted his country attaches special importance to the fact that relationship with Azerbaijan reaches the level of strategic partnership.
As part of the visit, Premysl Sobotka will have meetings in Milli Majlis, the Cabinet of Ministers, Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Baku Slavic University.
He will also attend the opening of Azerbaijan-Czechia business forum.
