Elevated cooperation between the Vietnam Supreme People’s Procuracy and the Cambodia

Hanoi (VNA) – Elevated cooperation between the Vietnam Supreme People’s
Procuracy and the Cambodia Attorney General’s Office will contribute to
fostering the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia , said a
senior procuracy official.

Director of the Vietnam Supreme People’s Procuracy Tran Quoc Vuong stated this at
a reception for a delegation from the Cambodian Attorney General’s Office led by
Deputy Attorney General of Cambodia ’s Supreme Court Chhuon Chantha in Hanoi
on Sept. 21.

Vuong highly valued the visit by the Cambodian deputy attorney general, describing
it as a contribution to helping further the promotion of mutual understanding and
cooperation between the two judicial organs.

The Cambodian Deputy Attorney General expressed the desire to continue to receive
assistance from Vietnam in professional training and the sharing of experience.

Earlier the same day, Cambodian Deputy Attorney General Chhuon Chantha held talks
with Vice Director of the Vietnam Supreme People’s Procuracy Khuat Van Nga where
they laid out future measures to intensify the two bodies’ cooperation and
coordination in the fight against crime in line with each country’s laws and
mutual non-intervention in each other’s internal affairs.

The Cambodian guests have been on a four-day working visit to Vietnam , which
