`AZERBAIJAN MUST BE EU`S MAIN ENERGY SECURITY PARTNER`

Baku, September 18 (AzerTAc). The European Union must regard Azerbaijan its main partner in terms of ensuring its energy security and be active in resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The EU must integrate into the Minsk process, said Belgian brigadier general Patrick Nopens, addressing the international conference on “Security and stability in the Caspian sea region from the point of new geopolitical reality”.
Nopens said EU`s practice in the Western Balkans can be applied in Nagorno-Karabakh as well.
Belgian representative stressed the importance of resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict for maintaining stability in Europe. He pointed out that Armenia must honor the resolutions of the UN, OSCE and other international organizations.
