UPCOMING MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS TO MEET INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS, TOP AZERI OFFICIAL
Baku, 19 September (AzerTAc). The forthcoming municipal elections in Azerbaijan will be conducted in accordance with international standards, the chief of Presidential Administration`s Department of Political Analysis and Information Provision Elnur Aslanov said.
Aslanov described the pre-election situation in the country as “stable”. He praised the ongoing preparations for the elections, stressing that pre-election situation in the country is as democratic as previous one.
“We will achieve conducting the elections in a fair and transparent manner”, Aslanov underlined.
