AUSTRALIA GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO SUPPORT SEVERITY AND TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY OF AZERBAIJAN

Baku, September 18 (AzerTAc). The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has sent to the Azerbaijan permanent mission to the United Nations a note on execution of the resolution “the situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan” adopted by the 62nd session of the UN General Assembly.
The note said the Australia continues to support sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, does not recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent state and backs OSCE`s mediation efforts towards peace and stability.
The Australia government places priority to the OSCE-led peace process.
