AZERI OMBUDSPERSON MEETS POLISH FORMER FIRST LADY
Baku, September 18 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Human Rights Comissioner Elmira Suleymanova has met visiting Polish former first lady Jolanta Kwasniewska.
Suleymanova praised the Azerbaijani-Polish relationship.
She briefed Kwasniewska on what the Ombudsman Office was doing to promote and strengthen the protection of human rights in Azerbaijan.
Suleymanova said the office actively cooperates with local government bodies, NGOs and media and also foreign human rights institutions and international organizations.
Kwasniewska praised the Azeri ombudsperson`s activities.
