Baku, September 17 (AzerTAc). Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Hijran Huseynova has today met the Belgian Senate`s honorary president Anne-Marie Lizin.
Huseynova briefed Anne-Marie Lizin on women`s role in Azerbaijan society.
She noted the significance of new projects to improve the country`s legislation to combat domestic crime and ensure gender equality.
Lizin stressed the importance of boosting bilateral cooperation in this regard.
