AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES TURKSOY CHIEF
Baku, September 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has today received TURKSOY Director-General Dussen Kasseinov.
The TURKSOY chief praised the organization`s cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Dussen Kasseinov said TURKSOY plans to arrange an event in Baku.
“Under TURKSOY`s project the Koroglu opera by outstanding Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibayov will be staged at the Baku stage on September 18.”
“The performance has already raised a tremendous interest in Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan,” the TURKSOY chief added.
President Ilham Aliyev said the project would help bring the two countries` people closer to each other and strengthen their cultural ties.
Both President Ilham Aliyev and Dussen Kasseinov expressed confidence the Azerbaijan-TURKSOY cooperation would further develop.
