“BAKU OPEN -2009” CHESS TOURNAMENT TO START NEXT WEEK
Baku, September 17 (AzerTAc). International Chess Tournament “Baku Open-2009” devoted to Independence Day will start On September 21-30. The tournament organized by Ministry of Sport and Youth and Chess Federation will be held in “AF-Hotel”, in Novhkani settlement of Baku.
Azerbaijani chess players Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Gata Kamski, Gadir Huseynov and others will participate at the event.
The contest among children will be held in Republican Chess Centre.
