AZERI PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION TO VISIT SWITZERLAND
Baku, 15 September (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Ogtay Asadov will be visiting Switzerland on September 16-18, according to Milli Majlis press secretary Akif Nasirov.
He said the delegation includes MPs Chingiz Asadullayev, Asim Mollazade, Elton Mammadov, head of the Administration of Milli Majlis Safa Mirzayev and others.
Nasirov noted during the trip, the delegation will meet with Swiss National Council Speaker Chiara Simoneschi-Cortesi, members of Switzerland-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group and member of the Federal Council and head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Micheline Calmy-Rey.
He added the discussions will focus on relationship between Azerbaijan and Switzerland including interparliamentary ties, public and political situation in the South Caucasus region and other questions.
As part of the visit the delegation members will also participate in several cultural events, he said.
