Iran, second in Tokyo 2009 Para Games

Iranian disabled athletes winning 69 different medals ranked second in the Tokyo 2009 Asian Youth Paralympics Games held from September 8 to 15.

The Iranian young team with disabilities clinched 25 gold, 27 silver and 17 bronze medals in the continental sports event.

The host country of Japan gaining 125 various medals ranked first and Iraq’s disabled sportspersons winning 32 medals stood at the third place.
