AZERBAIJANI JUDOISTS RECEIVE WARM WELCOME AT AIRPORT
Baku, September 14 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani judoists who returned home with five medals from the European Junior Championship in Yerevan, Armenia were given a triumphal welcome at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
President of Azerbaijan Judo Federation Fuzuli Alakbarov told journalists that successes of the Azerbaijani athletes demonstrate how much care President Ilham Aliyev has shown for sports over recent years.
The same day, the judoists have laid flowers at the monument to Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev in a park in front of the Heydar Aliyev Palace.
